Structure

The (id)entities are listed in the alphabetical order of their English endonym or transliteration of the (id)entities.

All entries and all names of political parties are cross-referenced in a separate list together with all the other endonyms and exonyms (→ Search list). Within each entry, the data are structured in separate fields (1 to 20).

The fields are grouped as follows: the reproduction of the main symbol and its name head the entry, followed by the type of (id)entity (field 1) and its politico-geographical features (2-5), while the main part is taken by its identity markers (6-13) after which fields regarding the study of the (id)entity (15-17) and fields specifically on its cultural and political movement (18-20) conclude the entry. The last field distinguishes between a general overview of the movement's organizations (20:0) and the different type of organization (20:1-3). Linked (non-territorial) identities conclude the entry.
